As I light my candle / Aunt Kathy Joan, I know I never have the right words to say, but I want you to know that as I light my candle tonight with everyone across the miles, that my arms are around You, Hollis, Tim, Terry, Todd and Chris today and every day. There truly isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Becky and see her smile lighting up my day. I believe she has sent me many signs that she is watching over all of us. It hardly seems like you have been in heaven for five years now. You are in my thoughts every day - not just occasionally. You make me smile when I see butterflys, rainbows, and special cloud formations. I have come to appreciate my life and family more each day with your help.
So, on this day, as every day, spread your wings and fly to us. We will be releasing balloons tomorrow in memory of your angelversary. Get ready to catch them!! :)

Thinking of you on Mother's Day / Kathy (Aunt) Joan, There are so many words in my heart I want to say to you. It's difficult for me to put them on paper however. I want you to know how my heart aches for you, Hollis, and the boys. I think of you all so often.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day and your heart must be breaking. I wish all the boys lived closer to you so they could wrap their arms around you. I'm hoping that you will be able to smile through your tears tomorrow to remember all the wonderful times you had with Becky. I know she will be smiling down on you and wiping your tears away.
Please don't ever think that we are not feeling your pain. I just wish there was something we could do to help ease it - but know that is not possible. I can only offer my love and support to you. Know that I am here for you always.

Becky, I found this poem today and it made me think of you and your family and of how much they miss you!
If Tears Could Build a Stairway
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.
No farewell words were sproken, No time to say "Goodbye". You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to love you- No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me to mourn for you no more; To remember all the happy times, life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten, I pledge to you today- A hollowed place within my heart is where you'll always stay.
